Deloitte is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Tableau Developer to join our team on a 1-year term. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Tableau dashboards and reports. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business insights.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that data visualization solutions meet their needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
  • Develop complex data models and calculations to support advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Tableau developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the team is leveraging the most effective tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity and accuracy in all visualizations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
