Lead Digital Product Owner

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the digital product strategy/roadmap, while also identifying emerging opportunities and trends to support the development of innovative products, services, and functionality. You will be responsible for the overall client experience, digital strategy, and the product delivery roadmap. You will also be supporting the development of new transformational capabilities to maintain a leadership position in the market.

What will you do?

• Collaborates with the Product Team to ensure appropriate understanding of the roadmap they are accountable for delivering

• Acts as a member of a cross-functional squad (Product, Design, and Technology) and works with functional partners to implement features identified in the product roadmap

• Responsible for building the right product features and user experiences

• Implements the strategy on behalf of business partners to enable and deliver a measurable impact on shareholder value via increased revenue, client satisfaction, RBC brand development, and reduced cost to maintain/implement.

• Monitors performance to identify trends and recommends initiatives to leverage opportunities

• Contribute to the product strategy to implement the overall Digital Strategy

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 7+ years of Product Management experience leading, development of small products and/or enhancements

• Demonstrated experience working with agile delivery teams.

• Demonstrated experience with financial data business analysis and alignment to requirement gathering process and user testing outcomes

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Possessing strong emotional intelligence/maturity

Nice to Have:

• Agile Product Owner certification

• RBC organizational awareness

• Mortgage Product Knowledge
