The Education Commons will provide, in collaboration with major research and development initiatives where appropriate, the iterative design, implementation and evaluation of technological environments and information space in which the academic and research programs of OISE are carried out.
Your opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Director, Education Commons, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering transformational technology solutions to the OISE community. You will be responsible for designing, supporting, maintaining and securing OISE's end points, such as end user devices, digital signage, virtual computer lab, research and departmental computer labs, printing and networking equipment within the Network as a Service managed service. You will be responsible for the tools, processes and procedures that maintain technological currency and maintainability of all end points through patch management framework, vulnerability management, MDM and inTune solutions. You will serve as the first escalation point to service delivery group of Education Commons. You will also be required to keep abreast of the latest support and technology trends, research and resolve difficult technology support requests, produce user documentation and review, refine and improve processes and procedures related to managing all OISE end points
