The Team
Scotiabank's Global Technology Services (GTS) - Strategic Portfolio Office manages the development, execution and performance of GTS' strategy & roadmap. We ensure a stable, secure & efficient infrastructure and service delivery, that protects the customer experience and supports business growth. We lead efforts around performance, optimization and innovation, best practice portfolio management, GTS financial management and transparency and GTS employee experience excellence.
The Technology Program Office reports into the Strategic Portfolio Office and is responsible for the delivery of GTS Strategic Initiatives. This includes Project/Program Management, Project Life-Cycle Planning, KPI Reporting and Benefits Realization. We provide an end-to-end view of all Global Strategic Programs for the following Portfolios: Datacentre (Compute and Storage) / Networks & Voice / IT Service Management / Data Loss Prevention / End User Computing (Enterprise Platforms) / Tools & Monitoring. We liaise with key IT Corporate functions (Security / Digital Factory / Governance /Real Estate / Line of Business CIOs and CFOs).
The Role
Reporting to the Head of the Technology Program Office (TPO), the Director, IT Portfolio Management (Enterprise Infrastructure) will play a leading role for Global Technology Services (GTS) Program delivery oversight, roadmap strategy, risk mitigation, Project and Operational financial planning and KPI reporting.

Required Skills & Experience
You can demonstrate excellent communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English.
You have at least 10+ years of hands-on working experience in IT Project Management on large enterprise infrastructure projects & programs (e.g. Storage, Data Platforms, Data Centre migrations, Infrastructure Modernization, Disaster Recovery planning, etc.).
You have at least 5+ years of hands-on working experience in leading diverse and global teams across geographies & time zones.
You can demonstrate effective influence and negotiation skills.
You also have excellent analytical, strategic conceptual / critical thinking, thought leadership, strategic planning and project delivery/execution skills.
You have completed a post-secondary education in a relevant field.
