What will your typical day look like?

This role is part of the Global Data Management team that strategically guides planning, implementation and management of entity data.

As a Data Quality Manager, you will be responsible for refining data quality framework and approaches for monitoring and measuring that drive process improvement.

You will act as a data quality SME on projects that will either be migrating new entities or on cleanup efforts addressing quality concerns. You will be responsible for ensuring the right metrics reporting to give an accurate picture of MDM's quality score.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for maintaining and optimizing the entity data quality processes based on global standards
  • Identifying improvement opportunities to ensure entity data and its relationships are consistent across the multiple Deloitte applications
  • Facilitating discussions with the business to clearly define the opportunity and/or problem to resolve and obtain high-level requirements related to data management implementations.
  • Managing quality projects by understanding the business partner's strategies, priorities and challenges. Assessing current data quality capabilities to come up with appropriate solutions and deliver the expected value.
  • Working with geographies to ensure data management processes are aligned with global where possible
  • Develop strategies to data mine 3rd party sources and integrate within Deloitte support the accuracy of Entity data.

About the team

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

The DDAI team proactively monitors the data quality in the MDM database and manage projects that ensure alignment between the entity master data with other key global applications. We work closely with our data governance office and the global member firms to ensure each geography's quality concerns are addressed and that we have the right global standards and processes in place to ensure ongoing quality.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency in database management systems (SQL,SQL Server)
  • Familiarity with data quality concepts and process improvement methods such as Lean/Six Sigma, DAMA data quality processes or other such programs
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing data quality projects and with data modeling concepts and techniques
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management concepts
  • Experience leading diverse teams and the ability to coach, mentor and provide guidance
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software, MDM software preferably Informatica IDQ
  • Knowledge of master data management and governance leading practices

Education:

  • Must possess a degree in Computer Information, Business Administration or related field

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
