What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Director, Data Products & Insights in the Chief Executive Auditor Group. This position is primary responsible for leveraging analytical and technical skills to enhance audit processes through data-driven insights. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets for audit purposes, supporting audit findings with data, creating visualizations for reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What will you do?

  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that could indicate risks or inefficiencies.
  • Audit Support: Utilize data to support audit findings, developing insights that inform audit strategies and risk assessments.
  • Data Visualization: Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Tool Proficiency: Use and maintain analytical tools and software to enhance data collection, processing, and analysis capabilities.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure data practices comply with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements like GDPR, SOX, etc.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Strong quantitative and statistical analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets for trends, anomalies, and risk indicators.
  • SQL proficiency for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Nice-to-have:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Data Governance, other analysts, and auditors.
  • Critical thinking to approach problems methodically and devise data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring high accuracy in analysis and reporting.
