Could you be the full-time hybrid Cybersecurity Architect in Toronto, ON, CA we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive cybersecurity expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll be at the forefront of safeguarding Alstom's digital infrastructure, responsible for the security analysis of our solutions and defining the necessary security requirements and architecture. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, IT, Project Management), lead cybersecurity risk assessments, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing and documenting reliable security architectures resilient against cyberthreats (CADRA),
  • Understanding the solutions to be delivered and secured,
  • Ensure update and upgrade delivered solution cybersecurity as needed
  • Leading or contributing to activities such as
    • cybersecurity risk assessments,
    • Implementing cybersecurity requirements,
    • Cybersecurity evaluation of the developed solution(s)

    • Management of 3rd parties on Cybersecurity aspects

    • Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management

  • Providing technical guidance and supervision for project/program team
    • Participating in Project/Program Design Reviews,
    • Supporting the engineering team in addressing design and technical challenges related to cybersecurity implementation.
    • Be referent for management and third parties on cybersecurity architecture and technical implementation.

    • Ensure homogeneous cybersecurity implementation conform to Governance & Expertise policies.

  • Respond and support to any security-related incidents and provide post-event analysis

  • Ensure cyber trend watch (new threats, new techno, etc.) related to the delivered solution(s)

Optionally, on case by case:

  • Peer review of cybersecurity deliverables from other Projects/Programs
  • Contribute to technical proposals on bids/tenders
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity process and standard(s) definition
  • Member of Cybersecurity expertise network

  • Degree in Engineering,
  • Experience or understanding of main cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as ISA/IEC 62443, TS 50701, ISO 2700X, NIST, NIS,
  • Knowledge of IT solution design and deployment with a technical background of 5+ years,
  • Familiarity with OT System architecture,
  • Understanding of cybersecurity risk assessment methodology,
  • Knowledge of defence in depth techniques such as network security architecture development and definition,
  • Understanding of third-party auditing and risk assessment,
  • Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and implement security measures,
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and creative with the ability to work in a complex environment,
  • Synthesis spirit, excellent written and verbal communication skills
