The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a CRM Specialist to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of promotional and triggered CRM campaigns. You will also manage customer data and utilize marketing technology platforms to build target audiences and deploy campaigns. The position reports to the Marketing Operations Manager and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute complex and data-driven CRM campaign deployments (including email and push notification) for multiple brands through the marketing automation platform
  • Communicate with various brand teams and the Marketing Operations Manager to understand campaign briefs, deploy campaigns, and report any potential issues
  • Carry out full testing on digital messaging for functions and rendering quality across all clients, and manage approval processes and campaign scheduling
  • Assist with day-to-day CRM marketing activities including, but not limited to, campaign set-up, tagging, QA, scheduling and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Support in the creation and execution of emails using HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Closely monitor campaigns post-deployment to validate completion and deliverability
  • Track effectiveness of all CRM marketing efforts and provide recommendations on operational process
  • Resolve errors with campaign execution that may occur during and post-deployment
  • Enforce and communicate pre-established deadlines and processes for campaign requests
  • Manage campaign set up from design, creation, testing and then deployment
  • Be a champion for CASL compliance and email best practices
  • Use project management tool to track the progress of campaign deployments
  • Create or update existing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain and update documentations related to campaign deployment or other CRM marketing activities

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a related field
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field
  • Experience in building and deploying omni-channel messaging, including email and push notification
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms (proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus)
  • Strong understanding of email marketing QA process and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with HTML and CSS
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail while working on multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Effectively communicates work effort and time to completion needed for all tasks/projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
