Job Description

Work with a purpose-driven company. Create real impact by helping orgs behind important causes get the tech they need to successfully fundraise and carry on their missions. This role is business development with a purpose. It is also an opportunity to build the most fundamental and transferable career skills: how to understand, educate and influence others for a good cause.

  • Learn, demonstrate, and articulate our value proposition and impact to new organizations
  • Fearlessly spread the word and introduce prospective clients to raisin
  • Leverage multiple channels of communication to meet people where they are
  • Perform research on not-for-profit organizations that we are successfully serving
  • Use our modern tools to communicate progress across the organization (Hubspot, Slack)
  • Share updates on performance, communicate questions and feedback across raisin
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to educate the not-for-profit ecosystem
  • Participate in creation of formal proposals

Qualifications

Personal Characteristics

  • Coachable, curious, and hungry to learn new things
  • Trustworthy and authentic in all that you do
  • Demonstrated background or passion in not-for-profits, charities, or social impact

Professional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of success and high-quality, result-based work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have used a CRM before or something similar (Hubspot experience considered an asset)
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset

Work Environment?

  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure, allowing the flexibility to work from home and in our brand new, beautifully renovated office in the heart of The Junction area. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration and will be required 1-2x per week.

Salary

$50,000 - $65,000
