What will your typical day look like?

The Business Analyst, Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst position reports directly to the Global Operations Software Asset Manager. This individual will support the license tracking and benefits administration for Deloitte's global software enterprise agreements which may include Microsoft, Salesforce, and other vendors. The SAM Analyst is a key support contact between Deloitte Technology, member firms, and the vendors in areas related to software license management, compliance and renewals in the operation of the Deloitte global software agreements. This individual works closely with Deloitte Technology SAM team, CoRe procurement, global business sponsors, and other DTTL operating groups and member firm teams in that capacity.

  • At the direction of Deloitte Technology Software Asset Manager, the analyst supports all aspects of the license management lifecycle for key global enterprise agreements i.e. Microsoft, Salesforce, etc. including license subscription activation, Azure Active Directory account administration, etc.
  • Works and collaborates with Deloitte Technology teams, CoRe procurement and the SAM team in the oversight of license management and fiscal spend required
  • Maintains software tracking and reporting processes, provides input for annual budget planning guidance, contributes to the development of software control measures, manages online service requests and assists the SAM Managers with recommendations to leadership, member firms, and Global Business users in the use of the software solutions as needed
  • Evaluates, identifies and advises on opportunities for process improvements and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Assesses customer needs, priorities and trends through regular ongoing communication with technology teams and member firm clients
  • Assists SAM Managers with CoRe procurement, Global Business sponsors, member firm teams and the vendors in management of current software licensing agreements and new agreements as needed
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and perform post-release testing to verify successful implementation
  • Design and generate dashboards and reports
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

In this role, you bring the following:

  • You are a high performer with a minimum two (2) years of experience with supporting technology systems, assets and vendor agreements preferably related to software licensing and subscription services
  • Past technology asset management experience, systems administration, and/or technology support skills highly desired
  • Working knowledge of various licensing models, vendor maintenance programs, cloud computing solutions and subscription-based agreements a plus
  • Self-starter with above average time management/organizational skills including appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently, and deal with ambiguity
  • Software Asset Management (SAM) tools including ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, and SNOW are a plus
  • ServiceNow ticketing system experience required

The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
