We are seeking a skilled BI Reporting Analyst and Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions that transform data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, with experience in BI tools like MicroStrategy BI and Power BI. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and ensure data accuracy and usability.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize BI models, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations and batch processes. Support for batch processes will requires familiarity with AutoSys and Unix/Window scripting.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to provide business insights.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful reports.
  • Design and develop PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for data transformation.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reporting platforms.
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stay updated on BI trends and recommend best practices for reporting and analytics.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as MicroStrategy BI and Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
  • Experience in working with Windows Server and Linux/Unix OSes.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with scheduling tools, specifically AutoSys.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix scripting.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases. Knowledge of Google Cloud an asset.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Background in financial and operational reporting.
