As a CHRIS Application Support team member, you will provide technical training and support for the clinical systems used by Ontario Health atHome for the area of South East. This training will include the Client Health and Related Information System (CHRIS), Assessment Software (AcuteNet/interRAI) and the Health Partner Gateway (HPG).

What will you do?

Application Support/Service Desk

  • Receive and prioritize requests from Staff, Managers and Service Providers for support and troubleshooting CHRIS application issues, CHRIS Business Processes, HPG Transmissions, and various CHRIS related logs/reports
  • Maintain local (TrackIT!) and provincial (Care Support/Remedy) ticketing / work order systems, related to application support requests;
  • Provide input and recommendations on the resolution of CHRIS and related process issues;
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Management and/or Ontario Health Shared Services (OHSS) as applicable;
  • Ongoing review and maintenance of CHRIS features and functionality (existing and new), and executing functions as required;
  • As directed by Manager and/or Privacy Officer, maintains client information in the CHRIS application by performing functions identified in the Health Records and Health Records Administration roles including: deleting client records, deleting referral records, and deleting service records

Training & Education

  • Develop, maintain, and delivers training and education related to the use of CHRIS and associated CHRIS Business Processes to staff/users
  • Identify and escalate known inconsistencies related CHRIS training and education;
  • Prepare and distribute CHRIS training materials, instructions and manuals;

Business Process

  • Participate in discussions/recommendations around incorporation of CHRIS and assessment software new and updated release functionality;
  • Collaborate with other teams, related to the utilization of CHRIS and related functionality;
  • Prepare reports and investigate data as required;Identify and escalate known inconsistencies in business processes related to CHRIS;
  • Maintains currency of CHRIS Business Process Manual and all related reference material, as directed;
  • Participates in orientation of new staff;

What must you have?

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent computer skills - including Windows, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Infopath)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Camtasia Software is considered an asset
  • Experience with technical training and education of adult learners; Certification in adult education is considered an asset;
  • Experience in developing training and reference materials considered an asset
