Your impact:

Working as part of the dynamic OpenText International Sales organization, the Program Manager role is a key member of the International Sales PMO. Reporting directly to the Vice President of the PMO, the position will be instrumental in delivering strategic initiatives that achieve tangible organizational results by supporting the Canadian Sales Leadership SVP and broader International Sales function.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to collaborate with the International Sales leadership and global support functions to identify, execute and report on initiatives that drive higher performance and achieves strategic results.

The candidate will be extremely organized with a strategic outlook, contributing new ideas and solutions to address business opportunities, demands, and challenges. Working in a highly energetic and dynamic environment, an ability to manage and run multiple initiatives simultaneously is essential, completing a range of tasks from project coordination to strategic program design and implementation.

What the role offers:

  • Work closely with the International Sales leadership to develop and execute initiatives aligned to strategic priorities for the function, delivering against our growth potential
  • Project manage cross-functional initiatives and programs, coordinating activities and resources with regular progress reporting against key milestones, ultimately owning on-time delivery of projects
  • Deliver multiple concurrent projects, tracking completion of action items, resolving issues, and mitigating risks in partnership with the Vice President, PMO International Sales
  • Work collaboratively with other functions on projects aligned to supporting International Sales
  • Resolve any specific challenges by adapting programs as necessary, effectively communicating changes to leadership and other relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assigned programs, through periodical reporting against KPIs, business impacts, and the benefits realized.
  • Support other PMO Projects and regions as priorities require.
  • Perform any other responsibilities and tasks as required by the International Sales leadership, including but not limited to, executive reporting, meeting coordination and business planning/ reviews.

What you need to succeed:

  • 5 or more years' experience in program and project management, ideally within a sales environment within an enterprise software company
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with strong business acumen and an ability to influence others
  • Experience operating across different, geographies, time zones, and cultures
  • Track record in designing and executing successful programs
  • Strong organization and time management skills: balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Work with all levels of the organization, and quick to build working relationships with others
  • Flexible and adaptable to time-sensitive situations, with the need to work outside of conventional hours to coordinate with team members located in locations around the world, working in different time zones/ work schedules.
  • A strategic thinker that can contribute ideas and solutions to addressing the opportunity potential, driving programs to deliver growth and results
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the business
  • Confident and experienced presenter
  • Self-motivated and driven to learn quickly, with an ability to apply new skills and knowledge
  • A fast-thinking, high-energy individual, and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities and cultures will thrive in this role
  • An understanding of OpenText solutions or Information Management technology is a significant advantage
  • Understanding of cloud-based software & services delivery and hosting operations
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office apps, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SalesForce.com
  • Fluent in English, both written & verbal. Being bi-lingual in business French (written & verbal) would be beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
