Your Impact:

Fortify WebInspect is the industry's most mature automated dynamic web application security testing solution, which is recognized as industry leader by Gartner MQ. Fortify DAST portfolio includes both on-premise (WebInspect) and containerized (Scan Central DAST) products that can be deployed in-house or as a service to build a scalable, nimble Software Security Assurance program that meets the evolving needs of today's IT organization.

We are looking for security product R&D developer; the developer will be responsible for development of a product that performs automated security assessment of applications. The person will be required to reverse engineer communication protocols, implement support for those protocols in our scanner by being able to intercept, interpret and modify requests and responses on the fly and assess vulnerabilities.

What the role offers:

As a Principal Software Developer, you will:

  • Work on industry-leading cybersecurity testing platform.
  • Solve complex tasks to meet business needs.
  • Learn about the latest security breaches across various tools, technologies, and programming languages.
  • Design and implement the next generation Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) scanner.
  • Engage in full-stack development including data, engine, and user interface layers.
  • Implement security analytics to gain comprehensive web security knowledge from top to bottom.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Languages/Frameworks: .Net using C#, JavaScript, Typescript, C/C++
  • Proficiency in networking protocols, browser internals, .NET framework in C# language, Kubernetes/Docker orchestration, encryption and authentication schemes.
  • Excellent knowledge in networking, .NET, code reverse engineering abilities.
  • Strong ability to analyze product performance and implement memory/ CPU optimization mechanisms
  • Excellent debugging capabilities using advanced debugging tools like WinDbg/ GDB and JetBrains profiling tools.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet pressing deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
