The Common Components unit provides shared software engineering services to global Product Management and development teams in the OpenText™ Products group. This includes User Experience Design support (guidelines and individual product designs), Product Information artifacts (product documentation and help), Localization support, Accessibility governance (VPAT, WCAG), Performance Engineering and Product Security, Build and release management tools and services.

What the role offers:

As a Lead UX Interaction Designer, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of an integrated business console for security and data protection.
  • Lead and collaborate with designers to prioritize and execute UX projects.
  • Drive research and discovery for new business products and features.
  • Ensure UX consistency through design reviews, adherence to design systems, and user-centered outcomes.
  • Leverage data analytics and customer insights to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Lead medium to large-scale UX projects, integrating cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Possess 8-12 years of previous professional experience.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Education & Expertise: 4-year degree in HCI, UX Design, Cognitive Science, or related field.
  • UX Tools & Best Practices: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, and expertise in user-centered design principles.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Strong experience in wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and analyzing research data.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to clearly articulate design ideas, work cross-functionally, and document design specifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Adaptability & Innovation: Passion for UX, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and commitment to continuous learning.
