YOUR IMPACT
Working as part of the Enterprise Architecture Team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to design, implement, and oversee our organization's security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting our digital assets, ensuring compliance with security standards, and mitigating cybersecurity threats. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in secure Cloud and SaaS application architecture, secure commercial platform architecture, network security, security frameworks, risk models, and common industry security best practices and industry standards.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Design, develop, and implement robust security reference architectures that can be used by the business to secure global systems, data, and networks.
• Lead efforts on behalf of the Enterprise Architecture team to service and support the larger OpenText business.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple teams and organizations in a collaborative and instructive manner to drive security best practices and ensure the secure implementation of OpenText Cloud solutions.
• A passion for security and a curiosity and eagerness to learn more in the field of Information Security.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematical sciences, or similar degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of security architecture, encryption technologies, security frameworks, and a strong understanding of Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps principles.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, TOGAF, or a Cloud Security Specialty are preferred.
• Capable of working on a team in a highly collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate security best practices, recommendations, and concepts to others for inclusion or adoption into business processes, procedures, and policies where it makes sense.
• Ability to research answers to questions or solutions to security-related problems when necessary.
• Knowledge of OpenText Commercial products and solutions is a plus.
