YOUR IMPACT:

As a Lead IT Project Manager within the IT PMO, you will provide high impact leadership on strategic, digital transformation, application development and Infrastructure, security and risk projects and programs. You will be responsible for the execution of project and program management activities (including, building the project plan, project governance structure, analysis of deliverables, cross-organization engagement of stakeholders, and delivery of work-streams including requirement capture, design, custom solution development, and deployment), Risk Mitigation, Change Control, Communication and Financial tracking on assigned projects and programs.

  • Your experience as a Project Manager enables you to get to the root cause of issues and provide recommendations to get projects back to green health.
  • Strong problem solving, issue and risk management skills and ability to recommend solutions to management.

Project Management methodologies and approaches

  • A Lead Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by effectively navigating various project management methodologies and approaches
  • Having a strong background in Agile methodologies is essential. This includes the ability to adapt and apply Agile principles in diverse scenarios, ensuring that the project can benefit from the flexibility and iterative nature of Agile practices.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 8+ years of demonstrated success in managing multiple IT projects simultaneously with varying degrees of complexity and maintaining a consistent high level of quality.
  • 8+ years managing projects in a cross-functional, matrixed organization, working with geographically dispersed and virtual teams.
  • Proficiency in various Project Management Methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Prince 2, and ITIL, allowing you to recommend the best approach for each project.
  • Educational background in Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, enabling you to adapt and apply these principles effectively.8+ years of experience working on Infrastructure, Network Operations, Network Security, IT Security and Risk, Security Architecture, Data Protection & Information, Data Center Operations, Digital Transformation or Application Development projects
  • PMP certification. Holding a PMP certification, which demonstrates your commitment to the profession and your expertise in project management best practices.
