As an IT Vendor and Software Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the relationships between an organization and their IT vendors. In this job, you will work closely with the IT team and vendor partners to ensure seamless operations and to optimize costs. You will collaborate with procurement teams to develop contracts and establish service level agreements (SLAs), oversee vendor performance, and work to improve vendor relationships. Your role requires strong communication and negotiation skills as you will be responsible for managing vendor expectations while working with internal teams to ensure needs are met. Additionally, you will track vendor performance metrics and create reports for management to help optimize vendor partnerships. Overall, your contributions will help the organization provide high-quality IT services while minimizing costs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building and maintaining effective relationships with technology vendors
Sourcing potential vendors and negotiating contract terms
Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met
Conducting and reviewing vendor assessments and risk analyses
Identifying areas for cost optimization and vendor consolidation
Developing and implementing vendor management policies and procedures
Collaborating with internal IT teams to ensure alignment with business goals
Communicating with stakeholders regarding vendor performance and any related concerns or issues that arise
Managing vendor onboarding and offboarding processes
Facilitating vendor audits and compliance reviews
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5-8 years of sourcing or IT project management experience
Experience with on-going management of software and hardware agreements
Proven ability to managing vendors and business relationships
Understanding of cost savings and value drivers within Global IT hardware and software
Experience with sourcing and procurement process
Experience with Microsoft Enterprise software and Azure
Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines and manage related risks
Strong situational leadership instincts and abilities
Ability to manage and work with culturally and geographically diverse populations
Ability work within a virtual team
DECISION MAKING & SUPERVISION:
Work under minimal supervision.
Make decisions and recommendations requiring analysis and interpretation within established procedures.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Generally comfortable working conditions.
Moderate visual concentration in use of video display terminal.
Occasional overtime required
