JOB SUMMARY
The Programmer/Analyst - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Technical is a vital contributor to the Enterprise Solutions (ES) team to provide technical operational support, monitoring, User security, configuration and change activities for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) or similar ERP solution. As part of the team, this position also provides technical assistance to support other application solutions within the section's portfolio and general functional support for ERP as needed. It delivers and sustains reliable, effective business solutions through defining requirements, performing analysis, testing and deploying changes in adherence with best practices for change management. It also participates in technical stewardship oversight activities in collaboration with Stakeholders, other Division resources and vendors.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide in-depth technical support services for identified solutions within the accountability of Enterprise Solutions (ES) team to meet business requirements including JDE EnterpriseOne or similar ERP solution.
Assist with general functional support for ERP solution as needed.
Establish and sustain integration between systems within the Enterprise Solutions accountability, other corporate systems or external systems to achieve business needs leveraging tools such as Boomi.
Provide thorough and timely troubleshooting and root cause analysis to recommend and coordinate resolution activities.
Monitor performance and outcomes for solutions within the accountability of Enterprise Solutions to ensure service reliability and timely problem resolution.
Assist with the administration of User security privileges for solutions within the accountability of Enterprise Solutions.
Develop technical/functional requirements and/or system design specifications in conjunction with Stakeholder Subject Matter Experts (SME's) that align with proposed business solutions.
Facilitate delivery of updates to existing solutions or implementation of new solutions through adherence to best practices for change management.
Create and maintain reference documentation for changes and support activities.
Participate in and/or lead project activities, and communicate progress.
As part of the Enterprise Solutions team, provide technical support for other solutions within the portfolio such as Salesforce, Workday, Esker, Quadra, etc.
Contribute to ongoing stewardship of all identified solutions within the accountability of Enterprise Solutions.
Perform other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Experience and other formal training combined with demonstrated performance may be considered as substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
Minimum of 5 years work experience within the IT field, preferably in application support.
Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting or implementing J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne or other ERP solution.
Experience with software development life cycle principles is essential.
Demonstrated experience in effectively prioritizing workload, multitasking and achieving deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Demonstrated experience with a variety of tools leveraged for support of ERP and/or broader portfolio of Enterprise Solutions including but not limited to SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database analysis tools, Java, and JAVA Script.
Experience with supporting other tools or applications such as Hubble or other reporting solution, Oracle Application Express (APEX), Boomie or similar integration tools desirable.
Knowledge of other enterprise systems integrated with JDE or other components of the Enterprise Solutions portfolio considered an asset.
English essential, Bilingualism (English and French) considered an asset.
This is a management group opportunity and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
