About this opportunity:

The BNEW EUHW Operational Product Manager (OPM) serves as the primary interface between Ericsson's Market Areas, Customer Units, and R&D for released hardware. This pivotal role involves ensuring the continued trust of our customers in the quality of the ERS hardware product portfolio, while developing a deep understanding of both the products and their performance within customer networks. You will also play a critical role in driving initiatives that are of significant business importance to the company.

With a background in customer-focused roles and a solid grasp of the ERS portfolio, you will focus primarily on the Radio and Baseband areas. Technical expertise in these domains is essential.

Your strong communication and leadership skills will be key as you collaborate across various teams within Business Areas (BA) and Market Areas/Customer Units (MA/CU), ensuring alignment and driving success.

What you will do:

  • Handle customer issues and when vital, lead product task forces.
  • Ensure that the voice of the customer is spread within the BA
  • Form E2E communication strategy in sophisticated HW cases
  • Work with internal PEU functions to understand/categorize what is driving HW returns from the market and take proactive actions
  • Represent EUHW in customer meetings for HW quality topics or other initiatives
  • Drive customer engagement & deployment support activities
  • Prepare decisions and drive HW Field Corrections (Field Change Orders/Repair Change Orders/Service Advice/Repair Investigation requests).
  • Control the budget for HW Field Correction issues and ongoing activities
  • Drive and lead process work

The skills you bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in similar role
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in related field
  • ERS HW Product design experience
  • Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
