What you will do:
Drive innovation and development within Layer 1 software for Cloud platforms, aligning with Ericsson's strategic objectives.
Ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet both short-term goals and long-term vision.
Lead the recruitment, coaching, development, and performance management of team members.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration across teams.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Ericsson to align on goals and drive joint initiatives.
Empower and inspire teams, creating an inclusive and high-performing environment.
Simplify complex structures and processes to accelerate product development and organizational efficiency.
Act as a change leader, supporting transformation and agile ways of working.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including roles such as developer, team leader, project manager, or line manager.
- Strong, results-oriented leader with a proactive, empowering, and pragmatic approach to driving sustainable solutions.
- Experience with radio baseband, radio protocols, or real-time embedded/DSP programming is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
- Solid understanding of the telecom industry and its future direction.
- Deep interest in the evolution and success of Layer 1 products.
- Strong leadership skills aligned with Ericsson's core values.
- Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies; passionate about teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work across organizational boundaries and inspire teams.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- Business- and customer-focused, with high accountability and delivery mindset.
- Proven coaching, mentoring, and negotiation skills.
