What you will do:

  • Drive innovation and development within Layer 1 software for Cloud platforms, aligning with Ericsson's strategic objectives.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet both short-term goals and long-term vision.

  • Lead the recruitment, coaching, development, and performance management of team members.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration across teams.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Ericsson to align on goals and drive joint initiatives.

  • Empower and inspire teams, creating an inclusive and high-performing environment.

  • Simplify complex structures and processes to accelerate product development and organizational efficiency.

  • Act as a change leader, supporting transformation and agile ways of working.

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, including roles such as developer, team leader, project manager, or line manager.
  • Strong, results-oriented leader with a proactive, empowering, and pragmatic approach to driving sustainable solutions.
  • Experience with radio baseband, radio protocols, or real-time embedded/DSP programming is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Solid understanding of the telecom industry and its future direction.
  • Deep interest in the evolution and success of Layer 1 products.
  • Strong leadership skills aligned with Ericsson's core values.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies; passionate about teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work across organizational boundaries and inspire teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
  • Business- and customer-focused, with high accountability and delivery mindset.
  • Proven coaching, mentoring, and negotiation skills.
