About this opportunity:
RAN Software & Compute Platforms Engineering (RCE) is a new unit with end-to-end responsibilities for software and compute, focusing on next-gen development for open and cloud-native RAN software. With high-performing programmable networks, enabled by openness and cloud, the unit will help Ericsson to maintain technology leadership.
Business Operations and Program Office seeks to drive that RCE has the best people, the best practices and operating model, to deliver the best product that meets our customers' needs through quality focused execution within our portfolio financial investments.
What you will do:
- The Operations unit provides framework and services for operational excellence. Striving to achieve greater effectiveness & efficiency by developing, improving, reinforcing processes, structures, tools and in parallel securing compliance to Ericsson Group Functions and corporate directives.
- Lead the RCE Framework & governance for Process and WoW incl. improvements & access/tools (JIRA, MHWEB, Eridoc)
- Manage Operational tools (JIRA, FPT, Eridoc) and ensure they meet the needs of the organization
- Develop and enhance measurement dashboards for Programs to enable continuous efficiency and productivity improvements.
- Implement and lead robust risk management and impediment handling framework within RCE
- Manage RCE Information and internal communication (SharePoint, web mgmt.)
- Lead Assessments & Audits (internal & external)
- Drive Compliance in areas of: EGMS, Business Continuity, ISMS & Privacy coordination
- Oversee BNEW R&D responsibilities for Management system compliance, Business continuity, Information & access mgt.
The skills you bring:
- Domain experience in Operations of large-scale organizations
- Ability to drive timely execution
- 10+ years product development experience in leading global large development teams, with a demonstrated passion for development
- Strong domain knowledge to have the needed credibility with our teams and suppliers
- Experience driving transformation in R&D organizations
- Experience in developing and leading operations tools and services
- Relevant tertiary qualification or commensurate working experience.
- Strategic and big picture thinking, with the ability to focus on delivering on your contribution to BNEW R&D today and into the future
- Thrives on accountability, overcoming challenges with a can-do attitude and motivated to achieve beyond expectations
- Collaborates by default and looks to work together rather than compete, also holding your teams accountable for working as one BNEW R&D
