About the role

  • Produce still images and motion graphics for websites, social media, presentations, tradeshows, proposals, training simulations and other media
  • Interpret the requirements of a creative brief and design brand compliant concepts
  • Produce compelling document layouts and brochures
  • Create photo-realistic graphics to simulate real-time equipment in a system environment for training applications
  • Log and maintain work progress status
  • Perform peer reviews of completed drawings for clarity, quality and completeness as per specifications. Identify design errors, omissions and other deficiencies and recommend revisions and/or design improvements
  • Complete training for, and develop proficiency using, a variety of productivity, communication and design software and tools.

What you bring to the role

  • College diploma in graphic and/or interactive/multimedia design
  • Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Zoom
  • Sound organizational skills (Time Management, File Layering, Versioning and Naming)
  • Enthusiasm for solving complex design challenges
  • Capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a collaborative team environment, virtually and in-person
  • Strong communication skills in professional settings.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Knowledge of 3DS Max or other 3D modelling software
  • Knowledge of CorelDraw!, Adobe Substance, AEM, Ceros, Articulate Storyline, Unily, Microsoft Visio, Excel and SharePoint.
