About this opportunity
The Product Engineering Unit Engineering Environment & Services is on a journey to enable Ericsson's OneRAN strategy by providing BNEW with production system services which enable resilient Cloud Native production pipeline services for all Cloud RAN products, including digital testing, self-service, and as-a-service provisioning, enabling DevOps and CICD.
Security focus are increasing in the industry and Ericsson has a need to increase the security posture both due to threats and from a regulatory point of view. High focus exist right now on NIST SSDF requirements where among other things there is increased focus on improving the environment that is used to create our products.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering Environment System, you will work with others with security requirements to see how to increase the security posture of the Engineering Environment both from a threat point of view but also from a regulatory point of view.
What you will do
• Represent CloudRAN and participate in system studies sometime cross organization and other work in the Security domain.
• Supply to security work for the production system including NESAS and NIST requirements
• Participate to setup the security frameworks
• Participate in Risk assessments
The skills you bring
• Formal technical education such as MSc or BSc in computer science or similar
• Engineering Environment/Production system experience. Preferably system wide knowledge but not necessarily
• Proven experience in software development, DevSecOps, or security roles
• Knowledge about security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST SSDF, NESAS and NCSC requirements
• Knowledge about product handling and vulnerability scanning
• SAN and Test Environment build knowledge
• Strategic and big picture thinking, with the ability to focus on delivering on your contribution to Network R&D today and into the future
• Micro-Service architecture and Cloud Native knowledge
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams
• Open source and Product Life Cycle Management experience is a plus
