Consider joining us as an Application Support Specialist if:

You have worked as a Business Analyst or a Systems Analyst for at least two years. You have a well-rounded knowledge of MS Power Platform applications and solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps), M365 Teams and SharePoint and its integration with Office 365; and can provide support to small custom client portals to facilitate service and rentals.

The role:

We look forward to adding a solution - oriented, problem-solving, and responsive Application Support Specialist to our team in Toronto, Canada. Reporting to the Sr Director, Business Transformation, the Application Support Specialist provides support to small custom client portals to facilitate service and rentals; proactively analyzing problems and offering solutions for application issues and performs routine checks of application logs and backups. You will be responsible for building power platforms for a smoother and easier correspondence between our long-term care facilities and the Motion team.

How you will spend your days:

  • Validate clients' requirements against existing and customized functionality.
  • Develop support documentation for training.
  • Provide template-based solutions.
  • Develop Power Automate forms and workflows.
  • Develop interfaces, and enhancements to existing solutions where applicable.
  • Analyze, design, and deliver SharePoint solutions based primarily in out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or completion of a Post-secondary Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Proficiency with the design, application, and development of Microsoft Power Platform with at least 1 year of experience building Power Automate (Flow) solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Professional team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business, clients, and IT professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to facilitate client facing sessions and demos.
  • Coordination skills in executing projects in a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, energetic and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvement within Applications being supported.
  • Expert in C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), Power Automate.
  • Additional must-have requirements. You have a clean criminal background check and are bondable.
