This role is responsible for the imbedding and implementing of the company's information security policies, standards, and procedures. The job involves:

  • Administering and monitoring security applications
  • Performing vulnerabilities scans - identifying, tracking, and analyzing security incidents/risks and defining appropriate mitigating controls
  • Contributing to the development of information security training and awareness activities
  • Continually improving the overall effectiveness of the security program and response process
  • Performing user access reviews
  • Providing support for internal and external audits
  • Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • University degree in Computer Science and/or related field
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years' experience in enterprise security architecture and document design
  • Working towards or possess CISSP Certification
  • Knowledge of application/system/network vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of IT security, monitoring tools and experience in patch management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
