This COOP is a full-time fixed term and Hybrid position in Ottawa, Canada.
Position Summary
Key Areas of Responsibility
As a member of a collaborative development team, the mobile application developer COOP will be instrumental in the identification and implementation of a Cloud Protection Licensing (CPL) wide mobile software that covers the product portfolio. The primary objective is to design, develop, test and deliver high-quality mobile products.
The mobile application developer COOP will work closely with product owners, system architects, software engineers, UX/UI designers, security teams, technical writers, customer support team, and 3rd parties as necessary to ensure timely delivery of quality products and to provide support throughout the lifecycle.
Responsible for developing and testing mobile app/SDK projects.
This includes:
Developing features and tests for iOS and/or Android applications in their native coding languages.
Communicating and collaborating with your team members both online and offline.
Executing test plans for upcoming releases to validate software and fix bugs.
Participate in the design process by interfacing closely with your peers to convert requirements into the design.
Perform research studies on upcoming features and ideas and delivering your results to your peers through presentations and documentation.
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Software Design or Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
Must have prior experience and strong interest in mobile development with Kotlin or Swift
Fundamental knowledge of source code control and experience using tools like git
Strong knowledge of modern coding patterns and declarative UI
Needs to be highly motivated, creative, and self-driven
Must have great communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
