Data Architect
Position Summary
The Data Architect plays a key role, within the Data Governance team, in designing, implementing, and managing the architecture that enables data to be exploited and delivered as a product. This role requires expertise in designing data models, building and optimizing data pipelines and ensuring that practices and tools align with governance, security, and compliance standards and policies. You will work closely with the AJISS team to ensure that data solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet business needs throughout the data lifecycle—from collection and storage to analysis and disposal.
As a Data Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design and secure data architectures that ensure the integrity, confidentiality and accessibility of data across multiple platforms. You will oversee the development of data pipelines and ensure high data quality, contributing to the organization's ability to make data-driven decisions while maintaining the highest standards of data security and governance.
Your role will involve collaborating with IT, Innovation, and AJISS teams to create data solutions that optimize data flow, enhance system performance, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will continuously evolve the data architecture to accommodate growing data demands, ensuring that governance frameworks are adaptable and scalable.
