The position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga, Ontario office with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week.
Role function: The main goal is to drive growth in Microsoft's security practice by leveraging a national overlay strategy. This involves working closely with partners and customers to promote and sell Microsoft's security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead up-selling efforts across Microsoft's security portfolio of cloud solutions.
- Act as a liaison between Microsoft and Ingram Micro for the security portfolio.
- Enable and educate partners on Microsoft security solutions, helping them build and enhance their security practices.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership, Microsoft and internal teams.
- Develop and manage pipeline strategies to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, thereby increasing sales across Microsoft's portfolio of products and services.
- Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships for an assigned group of customer accounts.
- Identifies, develops and closes new sales opportunities.
- May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
- Approximately 10% travel, within North America.
What you bring to the role:
- College Diploma or Degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience or account management experience with an emphasis on security and recurring revenue solutions.
- SC-900 certification is required for this position and the successful candidate must either have this certificate prior to or complete it within 2 months of their start date.
- AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification and MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification are assets.
- Demonstrates adaptability, drives results, ability to prioritize, strong relationship-building experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong comfort with technology.
- Strong MS Office suite experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Possesses a keen eye for details while maintaining a strong focus on driving sales results.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
