YOUR IMPACT

OpenText Corp is seeking a Sr. Manager of Technical Operations to lead our global technical operations team supporting the Sales domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical projects, optimizing operational processes, and leading cross-functional teams. In addition, this role will be accountable for continuous integration, deployments and associated environments.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical DevOps and prod support professionals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee the day-to-day technical operations and deployment tasks to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are met.
  • Perform change management by working with key business and IT stakeholders and implementing proper incident management processes specific to application and integration.
  • Establish L1/L2/L3 scope and boundary and govern the ticket triage
  • Make tactical decisions and take required actions to restore degraded service within SLA.
  • Partner with non-North American operations COE to ensure staffing and continuous 24/7 support.
  • Liaise with other Technology partner's operations to ensure the resolution of critical incidents.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of direct Technical Operations experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud) experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in the information technology field and previous team management experience.
  • Experience with Agile Delivery frameworks (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Demonstrated ability of successfully leading complex IT applications serving Internal and external customers.
  • Ability to successfully implement and control budgets.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Must be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing the "big picture" with meeting the day-to-day needs of the organization.
  • Ability to inform, educat,e and influence managers and employees to support goals and initiatives in a matrix environment.
