You as Specialist, Integrated Solutions will:

  • Design and deploy effective solutions through the creative application of leading-edge knowledge of information technology
  • Research new technologies, hardware, software, and integration options required for achieving project goals
  • Lead the development of Workflow with consultant and end-user.
  • Lead the definition of system integration requirement and technology connector to enable ease of workflow implementation.
  • Map and effectively communicate the requirement between workflow, human-machine interface and the application of technology.
  • Participate in the selection of technology to best deploy workflow requirement.
  • Responsible for designing system functionality, boundary and capacity to meet workflow requirement.
  • Participate in customer presentation and solution development.
  • Develop project scope and pricing.
  • Responsible for implementation of technology at the technology system integration level
  • Responsible for the development and execution of system performance testing
  • Develop training requirements with the emphasis on implementation of technology through change management.
  • Manage subcontractor effectively to deliver the project on time and on bud
  • Supervise project implementations by partners and vendors

Is this the right role for you?

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in system integration and network topology design experience within the Information Communication Technology (ICAT) field including Integrated security systems (CCTV, access control) and clinical systems (nurse call, RTLS);
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or other related disciplines is preferred;
  • A working knowledge of building systems including HVAC and Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, lighting and lighting controls, energy management systems, etc;
  • Proven leadership, communication, time management and technical troubleshooting skills;
  • Strong technical writing skills to support documentation of problem resolution / solution improvements;
  • Experience in healthcare clinical workflow including clinical traceability and mobility is an asset;
  • Change Management experience to help end users adopt and operationalize technology is an asset;
  • Experience DBF/DBFM (Design Build Finance/Design Build Finance and Maintain) projects would be an advantage.
