Position Summary...

The Project Manager, Marketplace is responsible for building out end-to-end roadmaps to track, assess and handle compliance and technology issues, in partnership with cross functional teams. Responsible for identifying the opportunity for simplification and standardization and contribution to the development and improvement of various business roadmaps and processes and administration for Walmart.ca Marketplace.

What you'll do...

• Create and manage a technology roadmap to deliver the vision of Marketplace.
• Work with cross functional and internal Marketplace teams to develop and present sound business cases to secure technology funding for proposed initiatives
• Partner with product managers (local and international) to ensure clarity on business requirements and on time delivery of Marketplace tech initiatives
• Develop and manage a robust internal tech tracker to identify tech initiatives and provide summary reports to business with timelines, deliverables and risks clearly identified
• Manage the release of tech features to the seller community and internal teams by engaging appropriate cross-functional teams and building processes

Qualifications

• 6+ years of business/ecommerce experience is required
• Tenacious, analytical, organized, detail-oriented, ability to balance multiple priorities
• Ability to assess as situation / challenge and understand downstream implication to process, systems, stakeholder experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross functional teams is a must
• Experience in Retail Merchandising, Technology or e-Commerce Operations an asset
• Comfort working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
• Experience with Project Management tools like Confluence, JIRA, MS Project (or others) a strong asset.
