At Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a dynamic National IT Director to join our Canadian head office in Toronto and lead our IT strategy and operations.

Your Role

Your Role: • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of KN Canada's IT strategy and systems to drive business results. • Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.

Your Responsibilities

Your Role:
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of KN Canada's IT strategy and systems to drive business results.
Manage and mentor a team of local IT Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Report directly to the National Finance Manager and collaborate closely with business leaders to recommend and implement technology improvements.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
Oversee the security, risk management, and compliance of our Information Systems.
Manage IT budgets, ensuring financial targets are met, and oversee vendor relationships including contract negotiations.
Act as the primary IT owner for Kuehne+Nagel Canada, supporting all IT requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in logistics or a similar industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a background in enterprise IT management.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, MSCE, TIA A+) and experience with AI and Machine Learning are assets.
