Description

We're looking for a top-notch communicator who is a highly-strategic and creative team-player, an innovative marketer and a growth strategist focused on executing creative go-to-market (GTM) campaigns by managing all stages of development, implementation and measurement. Using your talent for translating words and imagery into powerful brand stories that drive traffic and customer loyalty, convert prospects into loyal customers, and enhance the brand identity will help you excel in this role.

Reporting to the Manager of Digital and Marketing Communications and a member of the Marketing Communications and Content team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies and tactics to support marketing campaigns and initiatives. This includes ensuring consistent messaging across all media such as those supporting product launches, operational enhancements, email, content and web development, digital advertising and lead gen, and social media, while staying focused on KPIs.

To succeed in this role, you must be creative and a clear communicator, with proven experience in areas of campaign strategy development and execution, content marketing and distribution, customer journey mapping, data tracking and analytics, and enjoy staying on top of trends and best practices to bring new, creative ideas for lead generation and conversions.

The schedule for this role is hybrid being Monday - Friday and working 3 days in the office for a total of 37.5 weekly hours.

**This is a contract/temporary role lasting 18 months.**

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market, product launch requests & projects from internal stakeholders for multi-channel, multi-touchpoint go-to-market strategies and lead execution by managing vendors to produce creative, high-quality content that is timely, personalized, and customer focused.
  • Align and execute product launch requests and projects in conjunction with take-to-sales and take-to-company communications teams to align on tasks, deadlines, budget and deliverables.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), such as Product, Retail and Legal teams for brand compliance, review and approvals.
  • Responsible for quality control data checking of marketing communication materials and records created.
  • Manage budget requests for campaigns and maintain accurate budget records budget spreadsheet, creating POs, reclasses.
  • Set, monitor and report on KPIs and make actionable recommendations to achieve objectives and targets for go-to-market campaigns and product launches.
  • Responsible for ensuring the content effectively and appropriately impacts varying distribution channels, and audiences in different parts of the customer journey and sales funnel while following best practices.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact with agencies and develop, write, copy edit webpages, emails, sell/info sheets, presentation decks.
  • Serve as the GTM expert and point-of-contact for internal stakeholders and advise on best practices.
  • Assist the Content/SEO team members on various day-to-day tasks including monitoring and reporting on metrics and other KPIs, and providing insight to continuously improve content strategy using analytics, a/b testing, SEO, optimization of landing pages and website, copy and layout for digital ads, and populating resource hub and the editorial calendar.
  • Keep up with trends and advise on product marketing and go-to-market best practices and process improvements to drive efficiencies in the marketing team.
  • Establish rapport and develop trusting relationships with peer members and business stakeholders.
  • Functions as an additional resource for ad hoc/urgent requests and manage marketing budgets.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, PR or other field with relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing
  • Bilingual (English and French) is preferred but not required
  • Strong copy writing and editing skills for web and digital and creatively inclined to discern effective design and make recommendations with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, SME's and internal clients to communicate, negotiate, and understand requirements, gather input, manage project and timelines, provide feedback and approvals
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO (on-page and off-page) and SEM best practices. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat) and Canva
  • Highly customer-focused with ability to create and convey communications that attract, persuade and convert prospects into loyal customers
  • Strong understanding of product marketing, content creation/storytelling, customer journey mapping and user flows
  • Analytical skills to be able to derive meaning from data through web analytics and social media platform metrics to make recommendations and create reports
  • Self-starter, resourceful, proactive and results-oriented with strong relationship-building skills
