You as an IT Cloud Storage and Backup Analyst will:

  • Develop and maintain models and standards for projects.
  • Develop and implement data protection strategies to safeguard against unauthorized access, modification, and deletion, including ransomware.
  • Regularly assess data protection systems to identify and mitigate risks such as ransomware, hardware failures, and human error.
  • Implement and maintains disaster recovery plans, ensuring rapid data and system recovery.
  • Provide technical guidance on data protection best practices, including encryption, secure storage, IAM controls, and immutable backup strategies.
  • Assist in implementing standards and orientations for personnel executing plans and projects.
  • Participate in architecture and planning projects.
  • Propose scalable, modular, and integrative technology solutions, identifying and recommending improvements.
  • Implement storage solutions including Block, File, Object storage, Cloud, Premises Storage, Backup, Disaster, and Cyber Recovery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data protection solutions.
  • Analyze data protection performance metrics and recommends enhancements.
  • Prepare and presents reports on data protection activities and status.
  • Provide technical assistance to IT Operations Storage and Backup team.
  • Manage backup and replication, including creating, maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing processes.
  • Ensure sufficient storage capacity, understands storage technologies, and troubleshoots storage-related issues.
  • Implement security best practices and ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for systems, infrastructure, and backup configurations.

Is this role right for you?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • You have expertise in NASUNI Hybrid cloud solutions, Veeam Backup & Replication, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

  • You have knowledge of storage technologies (Azure Cloud, SAN, NAS, DAS, Converged & Hyper Converged) and cloud-based data protection solutions.

  • You have experience with administration and maintenance of Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, ADFS, network permissions, and corporate backups for Microsoft M365 environments.

  • You have experience with Windows Server OS, SQL databases, and implementing system environments (VMware, Citrix, Windows, Linux, Azure).

  • You are proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex multi-vendor, multi-site infrastructure issues.

  • You have strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

  • You are team-oriented with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced enterprise-level environment.
