YOUR IMPACT:

OpenText is seeking an enthusiastic customer-focused leader to serve as Director, Integration Systems within the Corporate IT organization. This is a very visible and key global leadership role in OpenText with direct business impact, leading a team of functional and technical resources across the globe accountable for the development, expansion, and support of OT integration platforms. The right candidate will collaborate closely with the leaders deliver projects (small and large), creating value for the business users.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

The successful leader will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with Enterprise Architecture and senior technology leaders to understand business objectives in developing the Integration Systems roadmap
  • Responsible for leading a team in the development and support of all integration systems as well as executing on the roadmap.
  • Working closely with OpenText Global COE footprint to achieve business and technical objectives.
  • Working with Architecture and rest of the peer network to develop and maintain Integration Systems Landscape.
  • Key contributor to the overall technology delivery and ensuring the realization of goals such as reuse, infrastructure simplification, cost management and solution flexibility.
  • Build strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively influence staff across the business and IT.
  • Establishing clear goals and priorities for the global team, coaching and mentoring team members for high performance
  • Creating an environment of knowledge sharing and ongoing learning
  • Developing career paths for your team
  • Successfully managing financial plans and budgets
  • Application Stack - Cloud Integration Hub/ICDM, PI/PO (SAP), GCP etc
  • Managing expectations of stakeholders
  • Negotiating with peers and business partners
  • Building a network of peers, business partners and external vendors/consultants
  • Working in a global operating model, with delivery and operational teams spread across geographies and people structures.
  • Communicating on a technical and business level to Leadership teams
  • Handling a demanding environment
  • Time management and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strategic and critical thinking
  • Presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner, with consideration of the target audience
  • Promoting best practices with the team and across teams
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to system integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams, ensuring best practices are followed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have good people skills.
  • Must have superior analytical skills.
  • Must have superior negotiation skills.
  • Strong technical leadership in driving large technical transformational programs.
  • High-tech software services industry experience is a plus.
  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree, College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years' experience leading engineering / development resources.
  • The ability to manage multiple streams of work effectively.
  • Experience with integrations of Mergers & Acquisitions is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive is a fast paced, matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
