You as a DevOps Engineer:

  • Collaborate with application developers and team members to architect solutions on cloud platform for application hosting.
  • Collaborate with application developers to build out CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
  • Analyze, debug and resolve production issues, including infrastructure, applications performance, system latency, and other IaaS services.
  • Help scale our cloud infrastructure while maintaining reliability and security.

Is this role right for you?

  • You have a university degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • You 2+ years of full-time software engineering industry-level experience.
  • You have proficiency with at least one of the programming languages like Bash/Python/Ruby.
  • You have working experience with at least one of the cloud platforms such as Azure/GCP/AWS.
  • You have knowledge of Infrastructure as code such as Terraform, and Ansible/AWS Cloud Formation.
  • You have a solid understanding of server administration and monitoring on Linux/Windows stack.
  • You have exposure to databases like MySQL/MSSQL/MongoDB.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills with enthusiasm and self-drive to quickly learn and experiment with emerging tools and frameworks.
  • You have working knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and cluster management container orchestration like Docker swarm/Amazon ECS/Kubernetes (GKE and AKS).
  • You have exposure to CI/CD tools like AWS CodePipeline/AzureDevOps/Travis/CircleCI.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in Agile teams and understanding of Scrum/Kanban model of software delivery.
  • Knowledge of IaC management tools like Crossplane or ArgoCD.
  • Familiarity with cloud Back-up and DR solutions.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
  • Exposure to Hashicorp Vault and Hashicorp Boundary.
  • Beginner level certification in one of the cloud technologies (Azure/GCP/AWS).
  • Work experience in full-stack development/data engineering/software testing.
