You as a Corporate Writer you will:

  • Write, review, and edit content for various digital platforms such as the company's website, marketing collateral, intranet, social media, newsletters, among others.
  • Create, review and edit content for various external and internally facing material and mediums including brochures, advertisements, website content, presentations, video scripts, speeches, etc.
  • Visit project sites to capture compelling stories and news to be communicated internally and externally on a broad variety of platforms including our website, social, and internal portal.
  • Liaise with various service and area departments to develop project profiles, case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Assist senior leaders with developing blogs, news articles, social media posts, etc.
  • Collaborate with various area offices and departments to develop promotional content for various audiences.
  • Research and investigate various topics and curate area and department-specific content.
  • Proofread content to ensure clarity, continuity, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Copy-edit content for grammar, style, punctuation, spelling, and consistency with marketing standards.
  • Have a deep understanding of EllisDon's brand identity and inject a consistent tone & voice across all material.
  • Occasionally work with C-Suite and senior leadership members to write speeches for various speaking engagements, conferences, and presentations.
  • Create, review, and edit any ad-hoc content requests.
  • Work with the Corporate Marketing team on best practices and content that aligns with business objectives and adds value to the Marketing and Communications efforts across the company.
  • Maintain and organize all content in a centralized platform, ensuring that it is consistently updated.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have three to five years of professional writing experience.
  • You have a degree or diploma in technical, professionally, or business writing or a related field such as Journalism, English, or Communications.
  • You have exceptional writing, proofreading, research, and interview skills.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, including the efficient scheduling, coordination, and execution of complex writing projects under challenging timelines.
  • You are well-versed with Microsoft Office.
