Profile

The Chief Technical Integrator drives for Engineering results, makes a meaningful contribution to effective aircraft design and mentors and supports Engineers and other departments. Responsible for technical leadership, innovation, and the delivery of a safe, effective design leading to the successful delivery of aircraft on-time and on-budget. The Chief Technical Integrator provides visibility of key technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on complex issues
  • Validate and evaluate trade-offs between designs
  • Enable rapid problem-solving and resolution of design challenges while ensuring the team creates industry-leading design solutions.
  • Evaluates existing processes for improvement or implements new processes where needed
  • Support other departments by facilitating the creation of technical requirements
  • Lead the overall technical design
  • Drive for execution of Engineering deliverables
  • Evaluate Engineering performance and provide input to hiring and team structure

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or a relevant technical degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in aerospace
  • Ability to communicate complex Engineering details concisely both internally and externally
  • Planning and execution of complex engineering solutions
  • Sound Engineering judgement leading to innovative solutions having a positive business impact
  • Solid understanding of the entire business
  • Ability to work under pressure
