The Administrator, Legal Systems will report to the Associate General Counsel and will be in charge of several strategic long-term projects as well as working alongside the rest of the team on day-to-day legal matters. This role is perfect for someone with a foundation in corporate or real estate law who is technologically savvy and eager to be part of a dynamic inhouse legal team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal Technology Platforms

Manage, improve and maintain the systems used internally by only the Legal Department (e.g., dealing with our digital minute books and closing books) as well as systems that the Legal Department has created and operates for end business users (e.g., our contract lifecycle management platform).

Legal and Business Team Support

Provide support and assistance to other members of the Legal Department, as needed, to assist with various legal projects as well as to respond to normal course business inquiries.

Legal Compliance

Coordinate the maintenance and periodic review of enterprise policies and update legal corporate and real estate data bases. From time to time, assist with corporate and real estate transactional work, as well as with litigation file management, as needed.

Reporting and Other

Create defined reports using data extracted from our legal systems and platforms and deliver them to a broad audiences, including legal, business, and external.

Any other job-related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • An undergraduate university degree and/or a college law clerk diploma with excellent academic credentials.
  • Minimum 2 years of legal or IT experience.
  • Experience with legal technology and processes or project management qualification and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, decisiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic.
