Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that align with our brand identity and effectively communicate our message. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design with a focus on delivering high-quality, creative solutions for both print and digital media.

This position will be based at our Markham location and follow a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce creative concepts for digital and print media, including marketing materials, advertisements, brochures, social media assets, and website graphics

  • Design and execute branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all materials

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align designs with campaign objectives and brand guidelines

  • Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine projects

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and quality standards

  • Stay updated with design software and technology to maintain industry standards

  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries

  • Research and integrate current design trends to keep materials visually engaging and competitive.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of web design (HTML/CSS) and WordPress is a plus

  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work

  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and branding principles

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Flexibility to adapt to feedback and changing project requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field

  • 1-2 years of professional design experience, ideally in health care sector
