About this role:

Avidbots is seeking an experienced Web and Mobile Software Development Manager to join our innovative and dynamic team. With 5-8 years of experience in web development and at least 3 years in a managerial role, the ideal candidate will lead our web development projects, driving the technical direction and ensuring the successful implementation of our online presence. This role is crucial in enhancing our digital footprint and supporting our mission to revolutionize the cleaning industry with cutting-edge robotic solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and R&D, to develop and maintain high-quality web applications that support our business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the web and mobile development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of Avidbots' website, web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement best practices in web development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing protocols.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of web and mobile applications.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to integrate branding and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in web and mobile development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in leading web development projects from conception to completion
  • Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with robotics or a strong interest in the field is a plus


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
