What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:
• lead a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for the clients, including business process transformation and requirements analysis for large and small projects
• coordinate and conduct the analysis of business requirements in order to design and develop applications that meet the stated business requirements, including the impact of projects across the portfolio
• provide leadership in supporting the design, development, implementation and maintenance of systems solutions
• provide systems consulting expertise to clients and advise on use of information technology to meet program business goals and objectives
• design system specifications by preparing requirements for proper system testing, implementation, and operation
• coordinate technical implementation procedures and conduct program and module tests

How do I qualify?

Technical Skills

You can demonstrate:
• knowledgeable of IT project and development methodologies, and industry-standard IT development, tools and techniques.
• technical expertise related to business analysis, and Agile development and are aware of DevOps processes.
• an ability to develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
• an ability to provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of software design and development, including construction of complex system design solutions, research/selection and proof-of-concept assignments.

Research, Analysis, and Communication Skills

You can:
• analyze, and provide advice and recommendations to business clients on their project and portfolio.
• provide advice and recommendations to business clients at all levels on IT solutions such as business requirements, and approaches to project planning and analysis.
• interpret, understand and explain detailed information to business and technical audiences.
• understand the client's business to develop recommendations on appropriate solutions.
• demonstrate your experience in managing external vendor relationships.
• use your teamwork and collaborative skills.

Systems Analysis and Development

You can demonstrate:
• knowledge of standard methods and techniques for complex IT systems analysis, including process and data modelling, and design and development techniques.
• knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• an ability to facilitate and review client business requirements.
• an ability to provide technical direction, mentoring and training to team members.
• knowledge of commonly used business software (such as word processing, spreadsheets) used in preparing IT systems development and testing documentation.

Project Management and Leadership Skills

You can demonstrate:
• an understanding of planning and directing complex IT systems development, testing, and implementation tasks as part of large development teams and across the portfolio.
• an ability to providing leadership, coaching/mentoring, guidance and technical expertise to other members of the IT development and test team.
• an ability to lead IT system responses to business requirements, and facilitate communications regarding requirements with the business stakeholders.
