As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Satcom here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the verification and validation of advanced satellite communication avionics systems. You will work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation and improve connectivity across various industries. Your expertise in satellite communication systems and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our satellite communication systems by verifying and validating solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality systems. Your technical expertise and leadership will be crucial in solving complex engineering problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify and validate advanced satellite communication systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in satellite communication systems or related roles
