Job Profile

The role of HR Functional Analyst for ERP will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing our human resources systems and processes. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and HR functional knowledge to ensure effective system functionality and data integrity. The HR Functional Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, provide system training and support, and contribute to the overall success of our HR operations.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for HR systems, including but not limited to HRIS (Human Resources Information System), performance management, learning management, and compensation systems.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify system needs, and translate them into system configuration and functionality.
  • Conduct system analysis and drive process improvement initiatives, optimizing HR system performance and effectiveness.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Train HR team members and end-users on system features, functionality, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT or external vendors to manage system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Identify and address data privacy and compliance considerations, ensuring HR systems align with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging HR technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and systems.
  • Responsible for documenting and developing systems requirements, design and prototype solution, complete full lifecycle testing for HRIS system landscape.
  • Ability to create training documentation and conduct end user training.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
SAP HCM Certified - SAP S/4 HANA

Experience and Knowledge

Three to Four years of related experience in:

  • Professional advanced level experience in configuring, administering and troubleshooting SAP HRIS components.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing SAP HRIS and also understanding of Basis, development and infrastructure knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience upgrading and integrating SAP with other applications and/or technologies.

Your compensation

The annual salary range for this Non-Union position is $94,039 - $114,678 (Band Level 5, 2025 rates). We offer a comprehensive benefits package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (35 hours per week), with some evenings and weekends as required.
