As the Senior Manager of Cloud DevOps, you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions for our public cloud environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud automation strategies, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure seamless integration with development and operations processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of cloud automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and tools for cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of automated cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, operations, and security teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud automation, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party automation tools and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
  • Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
  • Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
