Senior Network Infrastructure Analyst

Travel into local facilities, including but not limited to Toronto, Bradford, Brampton, Markham, or Townsend, will be required on a weekly basis and the location / frequency is subject to change depending on business needs. Travel across Canada may be required at times

We're looking for an innovative, hands on and experienced professional to join our IT division in the role of Senior Network Infrastructure Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, you will collaborate with our team to design, build and implement a robust network infrastructure framework for new and existing technology. More specifically, you will support Aurora with launching a new enterprise class technology stack based on Cloud smart strategies.

As the Senior Network Infrastructure Analyst you will…

  • Participate in projects, design, configuration and implementation of Network Infrastructure systems.
  • Take ownership in managing, configuring and securing our network devices (switches, APs, routers, VPN, HCI etc.) to deliver fast and reliable connectivity across multiple sites.
  • Act as a senior technical resource and escalation point for IT Service Desk support resources.
  • Manage, coordinate, and communicate status of incidents and problems from inception to resolution, including root cause analysis.
  • Lead in the management and maintenance of our corporate backup and replication infrastructure, global cloud (AWS / Azure) infrastructure, global network and VOIP phone system.
  • Review network utilization and performance trend, suggest future requirement to maintain acceptable performance and accommodate traffic growth.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for various IT systems, networks, procedures, policies, and standard
  • Participate in the annual audit to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and manage warranties/service agreements.

You're the ideal candidate if you have...

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in networking
  • 5 - 7 years of progressive IT experience working as a Network Infrastructure resource in medium to large enterprises with multiple distributed sites
  • 5 years of experience working with Windows servers and administering Active Directory, Azure and AWS, and a variety of storage systems
  • 5 years experience of internet security and routing protocols, security monitoring, administration of SNMP, QOS, DNS, WAF, FTP, DHCP, web proxies, VPN, CA/PKI and email services, patch administration, change management, log management, and general support and troubleshooting.
  • 5 years of experience providing service delivery for enterprise networking and network security infrastructure, particularly for LAN, wireless LAN, WAN and SDWAN services
  • 5 years of experience in administrating for enterprise LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, VMWare, Nutanix, NetApp
  • Experience using network security tools in an enterprise environment (Solarwinds, PRTG, Netmon)
  • Experience with Backup / Restore solutions such as Commvault.
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripting, SOX/CSOX, GDPR, HIPPA, and PCI-DSS

  • A positive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Occasional travel to other Aurora locations.
  • Rotational on-call required every 5 weeks.

  • CCNP
