About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Application and Integration Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the integration of various applications and systems within the organization, ensuring seamless data flow, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to meet business requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Application Integration:
  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions for various enterprise applications, ensuring compatibility across different systems.
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to identify integration requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Manage and monitor the integration of third-party applications, APIs, and internal systems.
  • System Administration and Maintenance:
  • Oversee the maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of integrated systems and applications.
  • Perform regular updates and patches to ensure applications and integrations are running smoothly.
  • Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards and policies.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical support for application issues, offering timely resolutions and troubleshooting complex problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve system errors or integration issues.
  • Project Management:
  • Lead and manage integration projects, including scoping, planning, and execution to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure integration projects align with business objectives.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for integration processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on integration performance, issues, and resolution progress.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and IT teams, to ensure successful application integration.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on how to effectively utilize integrated systems.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to application integration and system administration.
  • Recommend improvements and optimizations to existing integrations to enhance performance and efficiency.

Position Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in information management, computer science, or related field of study.
  • Proficiency with integration tools like Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Competencies:

  • Familiarity with Imaging platform like TransFlow Synergize or similar.
  • Experience working with ELDs
  • SQL querying experience and a good understanding of database concepts is an asset.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills.
