Bridging IT and Marketing for Smarter Customer Engagement
As an IT Architect - Marketing, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and lifecycle management of technology architectures and application architectures that support one or more application systems. You will build and maintain a holistic view of an ideal Marketing technology platform architecture that supports Home Hardware's MarTech roadmap. Led by the Director, IT eCommerce, this opportunity suits a results-oriented and proactive professional, with prior experience supporting marketing automation.

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical and application solutions to meet business requirements that are cost effective and sustainable.
- Translate business requirements using complex methods and models to determine appropriate system solutions.
- Provide input into annual budget planning for technology migrations and project cost estimation.
- Research, identify, test, certify, and recommend technology products required for solution delivery.
- Establish and implement technology migration strategies for a specific application or architecture within an IT portfolio.
- Lead technology review meetings and ensure appropriate governance processes are followed.
- Design and write high quality code to evolve Home's Marketing Technologies.
- Ensure all necessary architecture content is documented and available.
- Participate in other architecture decisions and validations of domain architectures as required.
We're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with five to ten years of progressive experience within IT, including expert level knowledge of Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship platforms.
- Technically proficient, with the ability to:
- Integrate with internal and external API's and databases.
- Design and implement REST API's.
- Leverage Node.js, JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS.
- Understand Microsoft marketing technologies such as Customer Data Platform and Microsoft Customer Insights along with Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive experience with various integration patterns such as SOAP, REST, file based, FTP using various formats such as JSON and XML.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems, applications, and/or networks for practical solutions can be provided that factor system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and overall cost to develop and maintain.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD approaches and tool.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
