Janitor (TPM - Behchoko)

Limited competition for Behchokǫ̀ residents only.

Tłı̨chǫ Property Management owns, leases, sources, maintains and manages many commercial and residential buildings and units, located in the four Tłı̨chǫ communities of Behchokǫ̀, Gamètì, Whatì, and Wekweetì. We are currently recruiting to fill the following casual position located in Behchokǫ̀, NT:

Janitor

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning each office/bathroom/common area of various commercial buildings including the Behchokǫ̀ Motel, the Marie Adele Bishop Health Center, the Nishi-Khon Office Complex and other buildings as required;
• Ensuring that cleaning products/supplies/equipment are cared for and stored properly and safely;
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning products/supplies/equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial experience an asset;
• Good communication skills;
• Great organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and productively;
• Must have experience working with and handling/storing cleaning products safely;
• Completion of WHMIS considered an asset, and if not, willingness to obtain.

This is a casual position working Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

This position can lead to permanent full-time employment.
